this one snuck up on me. out in the middle of nowhere, no one around, just trying to make it back to megaton. i'm checking my supplies and suddenly hear footsteps and a snal and the thing grabs me by the shoulder with its teeth as i'm dropping everything to try and shoot it. dogmeat, fuzzy hero that he is, runs back from where he's been sniffing around for any items and sinks his teeth into its leg. i get pretty well tossed off a small cliff and the two went at it until i pulled myself up and shot it. dogmeat barely had a scratch on him; too fast for it.
adults are all over the capital wasteland. too much room between settlements to clear them out well.

there's a shooting range, but it's not the same. though i heard about this thing called "paintball" where you shoot bullets made out of pain so that they don't actually kill anyone. it's a game.
besides that, you could see the scar.

Well shit, my best scar's all over my body, but I guess once you've seen one ghoul shirtless you've seen em all.
I do have a pretty nice one from the last time someone tried to take over Goodneighbor though. Apparently no one told him stabbing a ghoul in the back just makes them angry.

Not the most romantic story, but the scar's pretty crazy looking. Skin all healed around the knife so I had to break it again to get it out.

there's a ghoul i know named charon who travels with me sometimes; he and i prefer ranged weapons, so i guess i've never seen a ghoul with that sort of injury. i'm glad it wasn't permanent for you, since the guy was probably going for a killing blow and all.
