Wastelander from 2277 who likes dogs, picking locks, and not getting radioactive dirt everywhere. Used to a lot of shit. People not actively trying to kill me sounds good, to start with.

I am unsure if I should keep that or use a different image, as that picture is rather evocative.

I am likewise an explorer, though my reasons are different. You speak of wastelands and your word choice regarding people's lives have me intrigued. Was your world ravaged?

I have altered both the image and the contents of the profile. I am familiar with that phrase, and such an message is not suitable.

You have managed to survive successfully despite the radiation, or have you been careful in avoiding areas with high levels of radiation, and avoided anything that might otherwise kill you. Was most of the damage done only to life forms or were the cities ruined, as well?

no worries at all! hope the wrist is all healed up now

Interspecies ethics is necessary in the world from which I hail, as there are a number of different species in the galaxy and the organization I work for often encounters new species.

I am familiar with the area, though I have yet to visit. In my world, it still stands and there are known issues with it. This city must be vastly different for you, if you are used to surviving in such a harsh environment.

It is necessary in many worlds, even ones that do not realize they need such a topic.

If the world is overrun with radiation and chances are high that many individuals will be overrun by monsters, what information is deemed relevant?

In such a world, hope would be a rare commodity; one can understand why individuals would attempt to provide such optimism.

Perhaps his name came about because he is the owner of three canines?

He discusses you over the air?

The concept of domesticated animals providing more than companionship is not unusual. On my former planet, many families had domesticated sehlats, which are quite deadly if angered. They provide young Vulcans a valuable lesson in the treatment of animals, discipline, and afford some protection.

Are you a hero?

I am unsure. I have not requested them but that does not mean they are not present.

My planet was destroyed by a man bent on revenge against an individual who was unable to provide assistance to his planet. He intended to destroy Earth, as well, but was stopped before he successfully carried out his goal.

There are individuals in my world who would say that is common among heroes. Indeed, one individual I would claim as such often reacts only on a gut feeling because it is "right."

There are also those who do what is they feel is right and manage destruction. Though, considering your words, this is not the case for you.

Your point is valid. Shall we make a trip in the upcoming weeks?

[ It is something like logic, alright. ]

The planet no longer exists, and roughly 10,000 Vulcans remain. However, a suitable planet was located and my people are rebuilding. It is not easy, but it is perseverance in the face of adversity that determines character.

One who is willing to do what is necessary to perform acts of courage, though that is a limited definition. Though illogical, I have discovered that some qualities are difficult to truly define.

That is acceptable. Is he likely to be disturbed by the scent of a cat? As I have one such creature and while he will stay home, it is often impossible to escape stray cat hairs.

My people are part of a Federation of planets and the other planets are assisting in the efforts to rebuild and ensure measures of safety.

Indeed, they are illogical. I have discovered that Terran poetry attempts to describe emotion and perhaps provides insight where most humans are less than adept.

I have no objection to such actions. Shall we schedule for next week, then? Provided you are free.
